Hey, so the video you're about to see is from hiking to the LA Cineguilla I believe that's right. Petroglyphs, which are located in LA Cinega community, outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. So I wanna welcome you to the natural medic adventures. Glad that you're here. This is a little short video showing what we found, what we discovered my mom and I went and did this hike. She wasn't able to do a lot of the hikes on our trips, but she was able to do this. Definitely was rewarding if you're ever in the area it's on the west side of town and you should definitely go check it out, anyway onto the video.

The trail goes to go up and see them and easy access. It's just right off of, I guess this is La Cinega Boulevard. I'm not really sure. But this is where you go. Pretty neat the entrance portal for the area. Shows you here that this little Mesa here here's old, route 66, El Camino Real. Very cool. The little village of La Cinega. I think that's how I'm saying it. It's where we're staying in an Airbnb in an Airstream. tells you over here what happened and there's some of the petroglyphs tells you about the El Camino Real. Everything else in English and Spanish. Very cool. I'm up here at the La Cineguilla, hopefully I'm saying that it's part of the BLM properties Petroglyph trail, Petro, Glyph rocks. They are just all over these rocks here. It's about a half a mile walk from the parking lot. I don't think you can see the parking lot from where. I am standing. There's my mom right there. Hey mom. and you can see all the mountains and stuff in the distance and just amazing. What do you think about it, mom? It's pretty awesome. You heard it pretty. It's actually quite a bit of these Kokopelli type figures over here, the kind of flute player guy, which is prominent in a lot of Southwestern cultures and they know who did these formations and for the life of me, I cannot remember myself or the video, but I'll edit it in the editing process. Side of where I just showed you. There's a bunch more, there might be hundreds of different figures up there. I don't even know it is starting to rain. We're gonna head back down. The trail is right there that we came up through the little fence there and our vehicle is parked like right over the other side of that tree, only about a half a mile walk. Definitely worth it. If you're in the area of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mom rugged yeah, it was a little rugged going to the top. There is a little bit of a climb, but because you choose to have a mule. Oh, okay. I don't think they have any mules over here, but anyway little bit of a climb. You'd basically just walk on a flat, a dirt road, almost all the way over here. To get to up top, which you can see where it is in the picture here. So once you get to the fence and go through, just keep waking your working your way up. Don't know if you can see them. There's people that just passed us there, going they're all the way at the top and checking out all the formations. Look at this lovely cactus right here. Took a little side trip, sent mom back to the car, found this cool little canyon over. There's the Sangre De Cristos over there. Petro glyphs on other side of that rock there. I'm not gonna show you the cache, but there's geo cache, in my vicinity, like about over that way a little bit anyway. Worth it. Nice view. Nice hike. Thanks guy. Here's a super awesome canyon that I saw coming out here to find this cache. Wow. Would you look at that? That amazing. I gotta go back down over there. here's another angle that canyon man. Isn't that cool. So cool. And down I go.

Craig thenaturalmedic:

As you can see, there's a lot of different varieties to the terrain there on the trail. In the vicinity, some extra hikes, it is managed by the BLM. So it's not really well maintained as far as trail markings and things like that. Overall it seems to be pretty well tred trail, so it's easy to follow. If you got value from this video, make sure you gimme a thumbs up. Let me know that she appreciated my content.
