Ever dreamed of tracing the lines that divide states? Get ready to embark on an extraordinary journey to the highest point in Nebraska, where Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska all intersect. It's a seemingly unassuming location, but the panorama point offers an awe-inspiring view that stretches across three states. Prepare to be transported 5,424 feet above sea level, amidst a landscape adorned with wind turbines - a sight that holds a special familiarity for me, as I'm currently working on a wind turbine project in Wyoming.

Fasten your adventure seat belts as we delve into the rich history etched into this peak. You'll hear tales of Art Hendrickson and Claude Alden, the trailblazers who discovered this peak in October 1951. You'll also learn about Hiram Scott, an early Nebraska territory explorer whose memory is honored right here. But not everything is tied to the past - the landscape is adorned with wind turbines, bringing a touch of modernity to our journey. It may not seem impressive at first glance, but Nebraska has a magic and history that's waiting to be discovered. So, come along, and let's uncover the hidden gems of America's high points together.

Yeah, pretty cool, it says Kimball County Locals Art Hendrickson, claude Alden, discovered the highest point in Nebraska in October 1951 using a World War I altimeter Dedicated memory of Hiram Scott, an early Nebraska territory explorer who was employed by the American fur company, attended the early annual for trading rendezvous During a trip to St Louis, became ill to a North Platte and died, which that'sa place I'm going to.

Speaker 1:

I've mentioned that in my previous videos about going to Scotts Bluff and then you have funding for the bench is provided by these people right here, the High Corners Foundationorg, which I probably need to join. Anyway, here is the deal again Colorado, the rest of Nebraska and Wyoming over there. Hey, if you like that video, make sure to give me a thumbs up. I know it was short and sweet, but give you an idea of the introduction to the Nebraska High Point and what it was like. I thought it was an overall pretty cool experience to be at the highest point in all of Nebraska. I know not very exciting, but if you have any comments, questions, leave them below and until next time I'll see you on the trail.
