Hey, what's up? My fabulous outdoor friends? This is Craig NitroMedic coming at you. Another video this week.
Speaker 1:I'm in Boulder for this hike, staying in Denver for the weekend or the Denver area, and need to get out and get some hikes in. Here I am Right now. I'm doing what's called the Flatirons Vista. It's supposed to be an easy hiking trail at three miles long. Let's see what's going on down the trail. Come on with me.
Speaker 1:Long, gradual climb from the parking lot. You can see it behind me. Not sure how far I've gone because my watch, which has never had a problem before, stopped working, but enough to get me out of breath, which doesn't take much. Man, it's pretty out here. Take a look at this. Wow, I think they call it the Flatiron Range here in Boulder, technically foothills of the Rockies. Pretty friggin cool though this is nice.
Speaker 1:Come out of Morbary at Prairie, grassland type setting that I started with, and coming into over Ponderosa Pine Woodland. Check it out. A little bit more shade, I won't say it's any cooler, it's probably about 90 degrees right now. That's a pretty warm day for Colorado. What a dis-leopardy weekend. There you go, figure, taking a little break against this tree, had a strewwaffle and some water and they were both delicious. The Flatirons are still over here to my right, still looking gorgeous. The weather is warm, but it's not that bad. It's good weather to hike, even though it's a little hot. Just make sure you stay hydrated when you're out there.
Speaker 1:Alright, so I'm back out from the prairie, with some trees around, you can see the mountains over there. Really a nice trail. It's not very difficult, pretty flat throughout, but sometimes you need a trail like that just to enjoy and not have to work your butt off to get down it. Anyway, I'm gonna join this hike and, if you are as well, make sure to give me a good old thumbs up. Let YouTube know that this is a go out to other people. Thanks, okay, folks. I made it back safely.
Speaker 1:I'm back at the trailhead. You can see here on the map there's a lot of different trails you can access from this particular trailhead, but I just did the one. That was a nice one today, about 3.2 miles, took me about an hour and a half or so to do it and it wasn't too bad. Definitely enjoyed it. If you liked this video, give me a thumbs up. Leave me a comment below with anything you want to talk about, and think about subscribing to the channel for more videos like this. Hope you have a great day and I'll see you out of the trail. Bye-bye.
